The rope gun is located in a cave on the east side of the island. To get there, you’ll need to head directly east from the snowy mountain.
Once you’re close, you’ll see some planks at the entrance of the cave. Destroy them to gain access.
Navigating the Cave
Once you’re inside the cave, It’s recommended that you have a flashlight as it can get pretty dark in there. The cave is also full of enemies, So be prepared for a fight.
In the first big area, You’ll encounter 3-4 mutants. Take them out and look for the dead men and loot on the side.
From there, Head to the left side of the area, and you’ll find a small path.
Follow it until you reach a dead end where a big blob creature is blocking the path.
Use a grenade to blow it up, And then proceed to the next area where you’ll encounter more mutants, Including some big-mouthed ones.
Further ahead, You’ll encounter a mutant made up of two mutants joined by the torso.
Keep going and take out the mutant babies before moving ahead.
At the fork in the road, Take the left path where the entrance has shiny crystals on it.
You’ll have to deal with more mutant babies or run past them to reach a small gap in the wall.
Climb under it to reach another fork in the road.
Take the main path, And you’ll eventually see a rope gun at the edge.
Exiting the Cave
To exit the cave, Look above you, And you’ll see a rope. Use the gun to zipline down and make your way out.
